This small board is designed for you to easily power your breadboard with the common Eurorack voltages – directly from the bus in your case. The kit includes the PCB and all the parts necessary to supply voltages of -12V, + 12V and + 5V into your breadboard and it is possible to power the board from a 10 or 16 pin ribbon cable. In addition to reverse polarity protection diodes and power filtering capacitors, a point of connection to ground has been also added to solder a terminal to connect an oscilloscope or multimeter.

These are the same style micro knobs that can be found on a range of Befaco products. They are strictly designed for T18 Shaft (Doepfer style) Potentiometers.

Warning: Fit on proper T18 pots only. While it’s tempting to fit onto the Song Huei Tall Trimmer Pots – they are extremely hard to remove again from tall trimmer pots and it’s very easy to damage your pots or module in the process. You will also likely not be able to remove your module front panel with these fitted onto Tall Trimmers Pots.

Desoldering braid (wick) is pre-fluxed copper braid that is used to remove solder, which allows components to be replaced and excess solder to be removed.

For the fastest wicking action, rosin flux coated braid is ideal for high volume PCB production/repair environments. Effective on both lead and lead-free solders

The braid is 2.5mm wide and comes in an anti-static spool.

The CL1384 is a 2-way right-angle PCB mount, mono switched 3.5mm Jack. Each jack is supplied with it’s own separate Hex Nut.

These jacks are commonly used on Doepfer modules.  The transparent jacks can be illuminated by placing an LED next to the jack body, as seen on Expert Sleepers modules.

Several problems were faced during the development of the Mutable Instruments Eurorack modules, the module tester solves these.

• How to power and test a module during development? Bench-top power supplies are cumbersome (especially for projects requiring 3 supply rails) and standard test equipment is sometimes useless or frustrating for quantities like musical notes or V/Oct scales. On the other extreme of the scale, who would run the risk of putting a half-built prototype in a rack loaded with thousands of euros worth of modules?
• What kind of setup to use for factory testing?
• How to take a project away from the lab without carrying heaps of “dependencies”?

These are the same quality pots that are included with 95% of all Thonk produced kits and specced by many manufacturers. These pots work great with all the 6mm T18 Shaft knobs we sell.

These pots are perfect for Music Thing Modular, RYO, Manhattan Analog, Fonitronik, and Frequency Central (FCUK) projects where 9mm pots are specced… but do double check as there are a few exceptions. They are not the first choice for panel-wiring… but we do have Pot Chicklets for that!

We love these pots, they feel smooth and precise and have got a strong following for a good reason. One thing that always annoyed us was that annoying little anti-rotation tag that you have to cut or break off, so unlike other distributors we got them manufactured without that tag. Also removing the nut and washer on each pot to build something like a 64 pot sequencer panel can get REALLY tedious, so again unlike other distributors we include the nut and washer bagged separately. It only save 20 seconds per pot maybe, but it adds up!

These are the exact style knobs as used in all Erica Synths DIY Kits. These knobs are similar to our MXR range but with slightly sharper edges, they fit great on our 6.35mm Alpha Pots.
